Aquaponics is the combinations of Aquaculture and Hydroponics.
Aquaculture is the raising of fish in farms at sea, lakes, in rivers or in tanks.
Hydroponics is the growing of plants is soilless media such as water.
Aquaponics combines both systems to create a semi-closed system that benefits both the fish and plants.
